10th in a series of 13 Americana paintings done for a show December 2011.
Original 5x7 painting was donated and sold at auction to benefit a 28 yr old mother of 2 with cancer in Missouri. (Prints and greeting cards still available.)

ARTIST'S STATEMENT: Though I'm drawn to simple things in my life, it's vibrant, unexpected colors that lead me to art as a child. My personal world has been immersed in art and creative processes for over 30 years.
