Artist's Description
I was sitting outside on a single concrete step attempting to start a landscape painting when I looked down to my left and saw a little patch of weeds growing out from the crack where the sidewalk meets the step. I realize it's as worthy of my attention as the stand of trees in the distance. I decide to focus on the overlooked things in life that we can reach out and touch instead of always stretching for what's out of my reach on the horizon. This painting symbolizes enjoying what we have now before us. Photographed and edited for a fine art print.
